Club Nights

Club nights are designed to cater for all swimmers by providing an insight into competitive swimming. Swimmers compete in a friendly, informal enviroment where the emphasis is on participation, personal improvement and to have fun with friends.

Our Club nights offer:

  • A full range of competitive strokes and distances for all levels of swimmers.
  • The chance for swimmers to compete in a competition environment.
  • The opportunity for swimmers to familiarise themselves with correct race procedures.
  • A chance to practice new techniques and tactics
  • The Ability to develop and maintain fitness levels and a healthy lifestyle.

Club nights are held weekly on a Monday night at Orange Aquatic Centre 21A Hill Street Orange NSW 2800.

Racing starts at 5:30 sharp and goes until approximately 7:30pm.

Entry to compete in club nights is free.

Club nights are run by volunteers. We encourage ALL families to get involved and have a go at various duties to help the nights run smoothly.

All duties are simple, so there is no need to worry if you're not familar with what is required, there is always someone about to teach and assist to if it is your first time or have any questions.

By getting involved you have an opportunity to see your child/children compete from the pools edge.

Some of the positions that you can volunteer for include:

  • Timekeeping - Only requires the use of a stopwatch and pencil. Must be 13 years or over
  • Marshalling - The organisation of a group wanting to participate in their selected events
  • Dinner Roster - Check with committee
